MANILA, June 3 (Xinhua) -- Philippine President Benigno Aquino III will be leaving for Myanmar Friday to attend the 22th World Economic Forum 1 (WEF) on East Asia.
Aquino said in Monday's briefing that he will meet up with Myanmar President Thein Sein and opposition 2 leader Aung San Suu Kyi during the forum.
He also plans to invite WEF participants to attend next year's regional economic forum to be held in Manila.
