Tbilisi int'l film festival underway

TBILISI, Dec. 3 (Xinhua) -- The 13th Tbilisi International Film Festival opened Monday in the Georgian capital with a Hungarian-German production "The Door".
Twenty six countries from Europe and Asia are participating in the annual event that runs through Dec. 9.
On the opening day, honorary guest Hungarian director and screenplay writer Istvan Szabo, would give lectures on close-up shots in movies and shooting technicalities.
An international jury 1 will evaluate the participating films and a Golden Prometheus and a Silver Prometheus will be awarded to the best movie and to the best director at the end of the week-long event.
