An Indonesian army transport plane with more than 100 people aboard has crashed into houses on Java, killing 1 at least 57 people.
At least two people died on the ground when the Hercules came down near Madiun, hitting houses before skidding（滑行） into a rice field where it caught fire.
A local official（地方官员） quoted(引用) by Reuters said the plane had been "completely destroyed" with only the tail intact. （尚未被人碰过的，原封的，完整的）
The plane had been flying from Jakarta to eastern Java when it crashed.
It struck houses in the village of Geplak, 4km from Iswahyudi air force base, at around 0630 local time (2230 GMT), the Jakarta Post reports.
Air force spokesman Bambang Sulistyo said the C-130 Hercules had been on a routine training mission, and was carrying at least 109 passengers and crew.
