London 2012 Olympic soccer tickets go on sale

LONDON, April 29 (Xinhua) -- Some 1.4 million Olympic football tickets will go on sale from Monday, the BBC said here on Sunday.
Olympics organizers confirmed the tickets will be available from 11:00 BST, with the sales window due to stay open until 23:00 BST on 6 May.
A further one million tickets to other Olympic events will go on sale in mid-May.
Meanwhile, organizers have admitted only 10,000 tickets have been sold for the first event of the Olympics.
The only football matches for which tickets will not be offered on Monday are Britain vs. Uruguay, the men's quarterfinal, the men 's semifinal, and both finals.
