Randy Quaid, wife arrested for burglary
BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhuanet) -- Actor Randy Quaid and his wife Evi were arrested Saturday afternoon after they were reported living in the guest house of their old home illegally（非法的）, media reported Monday.
The two were discovered by the property owner's representative（代表）, squatting 1 in the guesthouse（宾馆,小型家庭旅馆）, and the rep alerted the authorities.
The couple told the police they had owned the property since the 1990s. But the owner's rep produced documents showing that his client had purchased the home in Santa Barbara, Calif., three years ago.
A contractor 2 working on the house claimied the Quaids caused 5,000 dollars in damage.
