Commuters will now be able to travel back and forth 1 between Macao and Zhuhai at any time of day.
This comes as authorities announced the extension of opening hours at the Hengqin Port in Zhuhai, Guangdong.
The port, less than 200 meters from Macao, will now be open 24 hours a day.
Wu Yirong is the head of the port.

"Opening the port 24 hours a day will be quite convenient for people on both sides, including students and workers. Actually they will benefit the most."
Apart from the Hengqin Port, two other crossings connecting Zhuhai and Macao have also prolonged their opening hours to serve more travelers.
