Real Madrid confirm Adebayor signing
MADRID, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho finally got the center forward he has spent the past season asking for as the club confirmed（确证） a signing of Manchester City forward Emmanuel Adebayor on Tuesday.
The Togo international has joined Real Madrid on a loan deal for which the Spanish side will pay a fee of around 2.5 million US dollars. Madrid also has the option to make the move permanent at the end of the season for a fee of around 20 million dollars.
Adebayor will fill the role of the number 9 that Jose Mourinho asked for before the start of the current season.
