False ceiling collapses at Delhi Games venue

NEW DELHI, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- A portion of a false ceiling at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, the main venue（犯罪地点） of the upcoming Commonwealth 1 Games in the Indian capital, collapsed 2 Wednesday, causing no injuries, reported the Indo-Asian News Service.
The Central Public Works Department which renovated（更新,革新） the stadium said tiles came down as maintenance work was being carried out, said the report.
The weightlifting event is scheduled to be held at the newly- built hall where the ceiling fell.
