1987年，在Arhus市的语文学校里，Jascha Richter(1963)成立了一个小乐队，包括后来乐队的两位成员，鼓手Kare Wanscher(1969)，吉他手Mikkel lentz(1968)。虽然两人都比他年轻，但他们都是从小就听摇滚乐长大的，而且都有几年的乐队经验。 Jascha给Kare放了他的几个小样，于是他们决定在此基础上组个乐队。Mikkel当然是第三人选，但他们找不到贝司手。所以Kare找到了他的老友吉他手Soren Madsen(1967)，在第一次练习是充当贝司，没想到这一暂时性的工作固定了下来。从此四个从排练房结识的人走到了一起。
