BEIJING - Chinese shares higher Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index（财政综合指数） up 1.07 percent, or 30.09, to end at 2,841.04.
The Shenzhen Component 1 Index closed up 0.87 percent, or 107.2 points, to end at 12,460.46.
Total turnover 2 shrank to 186.98 billion yuan ($28.10 billion) from 204.08 billion yuan on the previous trading day.
