此外，grand在英式英语中还暗示“一千英镑”，在美式中是“一千美元”。
8. 关于硬币
正面是head，后背是tail
赌钱的人常说head or tail。而make head or tail of sth. 是弄清嚣张某事的意思。例如：
She couldn’t make head or tail of it.
她对此全无所闻。
