Chinese Internet giant Baidu reported a 31.2-percent year-on-year increase in revenue in the first quarter (Q1) thanks to increased sales from search-engine-based new businesses.
据报道，中国科技巨头百度公司第一季度营收同比去年上涨31.2%，这主要由于搜索引擎拓展的新业务带来的收入增加。
Baidu raked in 15.821 billion yuan (2.45 billion U.S.dollars) in the first three months of 2016, with online marketing 1 revenue rising 19.3 percent to 14.931 billion yuan, according to a financial statement released on last Friday.

Baidu reported having 663 million monthly active users in March, up 9 percent year on year while its users of online payment and financial services reached 65 million by the end of March, rising 152 percent compared with the same period last year.
