Ukraine's Elena Svitilona wins ITF circuit Tunisian Open

TUNIS, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Elena Svitilona of Ukraine won the la Marsa Open after beating Bulgaria's Isabelle Shinikova 7-6, 7-6 in the final on Saturday in the north of the capital.
On Friday, Svitilona easily defeated Tunisian hopeful Ons Jabeur, the 17-old year French Open women's junior champion 6-2, 6-1.
The Open, organized by the la Marsa tennis club, is part of the International Tennis Federation 1 (ITF) circuit 2 with a prize money of 25,000 US dollars.
Svitilona, 200th in the latest WTA ranking, will pocket 50 points.
