HONGKONG, March 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 1 89km WNW of Iquique, Chile at 20:23:03 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 23.4 km, was initially 2 determined 3 to be at 19.9054 degrees south latitude 4 and 70.9339 degrees west longitude 5.
