China will step up efforts to protect the safety of medical workers by listing violent incidents against medical staff as "major sensitive cases," the Supreme 1 People's Procuratorate (SPP) said last Friday.
最高人民检察院上周五表示，我国将进一步采取措施来保护医护人员安全，并将针对医护人员的暴力事件列为“重大敏感案件”。
"To this regard, procuratorate organs must issue a quick response immediately when cases of offences targeting medical workers occur," according to a statement released by the SPP at a press conference.
