RIO DE JANEIRO, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Corinthians coach Tite has launched a stinging attack on Santos striker Neymar, accusing the Brazil international of deceiving referees 1 by "simulating" fouls 2.
Tite spoke 3 out after Santos' 3-2 home victory over the defending Brazilian Serie A champions on Sunday.
"To win or lose is part of the game. But to simulate a situation in an effort to gain an advantage is not," Tite said.
"It's a bad example for kids who are watching. He has to cut it out of his game."
Tite also accused Neymar of stepping on defender 4 Guilherme during Sunday's match, sparking a heated exchange between the pair.
Neymar protested his innocence 5 and said Guilherme had overreacted by physically 6 confronting him after the incident.
"It was unnecessary. You can't lose your head like that," Neymar said.
"We are both young and have a lot to learn. But the football pitch is not the place to fight."
