China's GDP tops Japan in Q3

China's economy again beat Japan's in the third quarter（第三季度） of this year, AFP reported on Dec 9.
China's nominal 1 GDP amounted to $1.42 trillion during July to September, compared with Japan's $1.37 trillion, the report said, citing Japan's cabinet office in Tokyo.
China had already eclipsed Japan in the second quarter, as the latter was hit by cooling exports and flat domestic consumption in April-June, the report said.
However, Japan's nominal GDP for January-September was $3.96 trillion, while China's was $3.95 trillion, according to the report.
Japan remains 2 more than 10 times richer than China in terms of per-capita GDP, the report said, citing the International Monetary 3 Fund.(本文由在线英语听力室整理编辑)
