WASHINGTON, May 19 (Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama will meet with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key next month at the White House over bilateral 1 and regional issues, the White House said Monday.
The meeting on June 20 "will highlight our increasingly close relationship with New Zealand and our collaboration 2 on the Trans- Pacific Partnership 3, climate change, and military-to-military cooperation," spokesman Jay Carney said in a statement.
He said other topics of discussion will include ongoing 4 U.S. rebalance to the Asia-Pacific region, regional maritime 5 security issues and global security issues like Ukraine.
