American basketball players led by former NBA star Dennis Rodman held their final practice with DPRK players ahead of an exhibition match today.
Former NBA stars including Charles D. Smith, Doug Christie, and Vin Baker 1 joined the practice. Organisers say the American team and the DPRK players will compete against each other during the first half of the match, but the two teams exchange teammates for the second half.
The DPRK team is made up of players from various of local teams, but doesn't include any member of the national team. Rodman, who is on his fourth visit to the DPRK, says that this match is intended as a birthday present for DPRK leader Kim Jong Un, who he has called a friend for life.
