“虎虎生威”用英语怎么说？

来看3月7日外交部部长杨洁篪答中外记者问时，在结束语中说到的一句话：
今年确实是我的本命年，我也在这里祝我们的祖国，祝中国同世界各国的友好互利合作关系如虎添翼、蒸蒸日上。
现场口译员的翻译是：

这里一句“forge ahead with the vigor and vitality of the tiger”，字面意思就是“带着老虎的精力和神威奋勇前进”，也就是“虎虎生威”的意思啦。这里口译员没有直接表达出“如虎添翼”的字面意思，flying tiger一类的表达可能在外国人听来会很莫名其妙，反之，用意译更为传神，意思清楚明了。那么，虎年中像这样的祝福语，只要和老虎有关的，大家都可以考虑用这个说法来表达哦。
