　　So when it was reported on June 4th that the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), one of the more secretive of America's plethora 4 of spy agencies, had decided 5 to donate two surplus spy-satellite mirrors to NASA, the country's civilian space agency, the news was less bizarre than it might at first have seemed.
