The Golden Era dominated the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards with five wins, including best film, best director, best cinematography and best art direction.
《黄金时代》获第34届香港电影金像奖最佳影片、最佳导演、最佳摄影和最佳美术指导等5个奖项。
It was the fifth time The Golden Era's helmer Ann Hui won the best director award, after A Simple Life (2012), The Way We Are (2008), Summer Snow (1995), and Boat People (1982).

Sean Lau took the award for best actor for his performance in Overheard 3. Lau was also nominated in the same category for his work in Insanity 1. It was his second time crowned best actor after 16 nominations 3; the first time was for his work in My Name is Fame (2006).

Golden Chicken SSS' Ivana Wong won both best supporting actress and best new performer awards. The singer-songwriter's foray into the film industry has garnered 5 her three nominations in the best new performer category, plus a nomination 2 in the best original film song category, marking a record for the most-nominated performer at the Hong Kong Film Awards.

Veteran actor Kenneth Tsang was named best supporting actor for his performance in Overheard 3. Tsang's career has spanned five decades, with roles in James Bond film Die Another Day, The Replacement 6 Killers 7 and Rush Hour 2.
