The Syrian National Coalition 1 held a general assembly at an undisclosed location in Istanbul on Sunday.
The meeting comes just weeks ahead of the planned peace conference in Geneva.
The Syrian National Coalition has said it will attend, but a major group within it disagrees. The Coalition says it is discussing its final position on the Geneva Two conference, which is supposed to take place on January 22. If it takes place, Geneva Two will be the first time representatives from the Syrian President Bashar Assad’s government and the opposition 2 will sit down together since the start of the conflict.
