MOSTAR, Bosnia and Herzegovina, April 8 (Xinhua) -- The International Trade Fair Mostar 2014, the 17th such event, opened here on Tuesday, participated by companies from over 20 countries.
Some 700 exhibitors were present at the fair, which has become one of the most important economic events in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Most foreign companies came from Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Italy, Russia and Germany.
The fair also provides opportunities for leaders from the region 1 to hold meetings. For this year, Croatian President Ivo Josipovic came to attend the fair and meet Bakir Izetbegovic, Chairman of Presidency 2 of BiH.
A series of conferences, round tables and workshops will be held at the fair to boost 3 trade in the region.
