ZAGREB, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Croatian President Ivo Josipovic on Monday called for a peaceful end to social unrest in neighboring Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).
He urged BiH to prevent the upheaval 1 from turning into ethnic 2 conflicts.
Protesters, mainly unemployed 3 workers and retirees demanding better treatment, clashed with the police on Friday, setting on fire the presidential building and other structures.
The demonstrations 4 started in the city of Tuzla and spread later to Mostar, Zenica and Sarajevo.
The Croatian president said it is possible that protests would take place also in his country, but they would not turn violent as in BiH.There is no reason to worry, he said.
