Chinese diplomats 1 continue to express outrage 2 over Japanese Prime minister Shinzo Abe's visit to the Yasukuni war shrine 3 last month. Yang Houlan, Chinese ambassador to Myanmar Yang Houlan is the latest to condemn 4 the visit.
In an article published by the local newspaper,he said Japan's invasion has brought hideous 5 disaster to Asian people, including Myanmar. He called on Japan to learn from Germany, and sincere apologize to achieve reconciliation 6, rather than challenge the consensus 7 on judgment 8 of World War II.
It's ridiculous that Abe claimed his purpose to visit Yasukuni shrine, which worshipped 14 Class A war criminal, is to make a "no-war" pledge. If the Japanese government continue to walk on a wrong path, not only if will hurt its relations with international community, but also cause damage to itself.
He called Japan to face up to history, and act to retain trust from its neighbours.
