2010上海世博会中国馆：城市发展中的中华智慧
中国馆共分为国家馆和地区馆两部分，国家馆主体造型雄浑有力，宛如华冠高耸，天下粮仓；地区馆平台基座汇聚人流，寓意社泽神州，富庶四方。国家馆和地区馆的整体布局，隐喻天地交泰、万物咸亨。
VTheme: Chinese Wisdom in Urban Development场馆主题:城市发展中的中华智慧Location: Within Zone A of the Expo Site展馆位置:A片区Pavilion Features展馆特色The main structure of the China Pavilion, "The Crown of the East," has a distinctive 1 roof, made of traditional dougong or brackets, which date back more than 2,000 years. This unique structural 2 component 3 of interlocking wooden brackets is one of the most important elements in traditional Chinese architecture. Dougong was widely used in the Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC-467 BC).
中国馆的主体建筑，“东方之冠”，采用传统的、拥有2000多年历史的斗拱式建筑风格，其屋顶设计独特。这种木砖相扣的独特建筑风格是中国传统建筑的最重要的组成部分。在春秋时期（公元前770年到467年）斗拱建筑风格被人们广泛采用。
The contour design of the pavilion is based on the concept of "Oriental Crown, Splendid China, Ample Barn, and Rich People," to express the spirit and disposition 4 of Chinese culture. The pavilion will have a core exhibition area on the top floor, an experience area on the second and a functional 5 area on the first. China's achievements in urban development from ancient to modern times will be the core theme of the pavilion.
展馆建筑外观设计基于“东方之冠，鼎盛中华，天下粮仓，富庶百姓”这一概念，表达中国文化的精神与气质。展馆将核心展区设置在顶层，第二层为体验区，第一层为功能区。表现从古至今，中国在城市发展方面取得的成就是展馆的核心主题。
Highlight 1:Exploring "Oriental Footprint"The wisdom that the ancient Chinese used to develop cities will be showcased with programs of different styles in Section One. A video played in the multimedia 6 exhibition will tell stories about China's vast migration 7 from rural to urban areas over the past 30 years of reform and opening-up, people's enthusiasm for building a better city and expectations forthe future. The famous picture of “Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival” will also make its appearance in the China Pavilion to illustrate 8 the charms of ancient Chinese cities.

第一展区通过风格迥异的展示项目，向人们展示中国人在城市发展中的智慧。其中的多媒体综合展项播放的一部影片，讲述改革开放三十多年来中国自强不息的城市化经验、中国人的建设热情和对于未来的期望。国宝级名画《清明上河图》被艺术地再现于展厅中，传达中国古典城市的智慧。
