HAVANA, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Cuban leader Raul Castro on Wednesday met Indian Vice 1 President Mohammad Hamid Ansari to discuss bilateral 2 cooperation.
Both leaders identified the potential to enhance cooperation in energy, biotechnology, sports, electronics and education.
Also in the day, Hamid Ansari and Cuba's First Vice President of the Council of State Miguel Diaz-Canel signed a visa exemption 3 agreement and a memorandum 4 of understanding for cooperation in radio and television.
The Indian vice president, who also chairs India's upper house of parliament, arrived here Tuesday for a two-day visit.
