"Quiet Times"这首歌的曲风平稳，听这首歌就好像在看一部老电影，耳朵里听见的是一个意味深长的故事。抚慰人心的嗓音，适时的鼓点加入，艰难时世，寂寞心情。对于Dido，这五年是对自己的一个积淀，是对心绪的调整。于是，她把家从伦敦搬到LA开始新专辑的创作。Dido说自己之前并非某个城市的狂热者，之后，当一个个好点子接踵而至时，你不得不感叹这是一个绝佳的创作城市。这座城融合了想象、创意，使之变得极富戏剧性。每个人差不多九点坠入梦乡之时，自己呢，便可以在一个人的夜潜心创作。
Dido在2008发行的新专辑叫做《Safe Trip Home》。封面颇具科幻味：蓝色的星球，密布着寂静感，那个缓缓着陆的宇航员即将安全抵达。他们常说，漂泊的人会在Dido的歌声中重获温暖。很佩服这样的歌手，触景生情会想起，即使已是五年。
