Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming visit to Russia has got Russian businessmen in China hoping for economic ties to further between the two countries.

Feng Yujun, the head of the Institute of Russian Studies, says now is the best time to develop China-Russia relations.

We need to make full use of the two countries' advantages in such fields as resources, technology and manufacturing to achieve mutual 2 development."
People-to people exchanges have also witnessed great leaps, with the number of Chinese tourists visiting Russia reaching 343 thousand for the last year, up 47 percent from 2011.
Russia has also declared 2013 as the Chinese Tourism Year.
