Chinese President Xi Jinping says cooperation among BRICS countries is conducive 1 to a more balanced world economy and the improvement of global economic governance.
He made the remarks in an interview ahead of the fifth BRICS summit scheduled for later this month in South Africa.
The summit will be part of his first overseas trip since becoming president, which starts this Friday, and will also take him to Russia, the Republic of Congo, and Tanzania.
"Over the years, the relations between China and Tanzania has transferred from traditional government to government context, has extended to people to people cooperation. More and more Tanzania businessmen are now trading in China. And more Chinese entrepreneurs are making huge investment in Tanzania."
