I want to thank the entire ASU community for the honor of attaching my name to a scholarship program that will help open the doors of higher education to students from every background. What a wonderful gift. Thank you.

That notion of opening doors of opportunity to everybody; that is the core mission of this school；It's the core mission of my presidency 1, and I hope this program will serve as a model for universities across this country. So, thank you so much.

I want to obviously congratulate the class of 2009 for your unbelievable achievements. I want to thank the parents, the uncles, the grandpas, the grandmas, cousins, calabash cousins, everybody who was involved in helping 2 these extraordinary young people arrive at this moment.

亚利桑那州立大学，简称ASU，是一所男女兼收的四年制公立大学，是全美最大最佳的五所“大学城”之一，是国际认可的研究型大学。ASU成立于1885年，是亚利桑那州第一所师范学院，后因稳定的成长与发展，在1958年，改名为亚利桑那州立大学。ASU由分散于菲尼斯大都会区各地的校区组成，学术力量雄厚，教学一流。
开设有150个本科专业，硕士学位专业多达97个，博士学位专业52个。亚利桑那州立大学的商学院和教育学院非别在全美排第34位和第29位。他们一把而已。
