The Hong Kong government has issued a strong condemnation 1 of the so-called Occupy protesters.
The condemnation follows a violent outburst yesterday morning, which saw protesters clash with police as they attempted to surround Hong Kong's main government buildings.
Hong Kong Chief-executive CY Leung is also warning demonstrators not to return to the protest site.
The violent protests yesterday morning left 11 police officers injured.
Around 40 demonstrators were arrested.
There have been increasing calls in Hong Kong for the protesters to stop blocking the roads amid growing concerns over the impact on people's daily lives and the local economy.

Authorities say they are going to increase their monitoring of the profit levels of foreign companies to make sure there is no "base erosion" or "profit shifting."
The tax authorities are also planning to work with other countries to try to clamp down on cross-border tax evasion.
