Kenya shortlists four foreign coaches for soccer team

NAIROBI, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Kenya's football federation 1 confirmed on Tuesday that the search of a successor to the departed Frenchman Henri Michel was over with four candidates short-listed and the final choice is expected to be announced on Wednesday.
Algeria-born Belgian Adel Amrouche, who has been in the country for the past fortnight, is widely tipped to replace Michel who quit in a huff in December following a contractual dispute.
"The selection for the Harambee Stars head coach is now over. Football Kenya Federation has short listed four coaches for the position. We will inform you of the venue 2 and time," a brief statement from the governing body read.
Amrouche watched the team beat Libya 3-0 in their last FIFA International friendly and has been heavily linked with the vacant post in local media.
The other candidates include Britain coach Bob Williamson, Serbian Milutin Sredojevic and former France coach Raymond Domenech.
