　　六级词汇讲解: 本句的主干是The...dollar is a source...。for引导的是原因状语从句。
　　rest on意为“依赖于，基于”。如：
　　That argument rests on afalse assumption.
　　那个论点基于一个错误的假设。
　　in part意为“在某种程度上，部分地”。如：
　　The book is written in part by my co-worker.
　　这本书的一部分是我同事写的。
　　英语六级考点归纳 part作名词时，常用的短语还有： for one’s part意为“就某人而言”。如： I，for my part，totally agree with you.
　　至于我，我完全同意你的看法。
　　look the part意为“看上去像模像样”。如：

　　explicitly意为“明确地，明白地”。如：

　　ignite意为“引发，激起”。如：

　　英语六级考点归纳不定式（短语）作形容词补语。有不少形容词（包括已变成形容词的分词）可后接不定式。这样的形容词多是表示思想感情的。
　　除上述形容词外，还有able、afraid、anxious、careful、content、foolish、inclined、prepared、ready、slow、willing等。如：
