Spring, summer, fall and winter.

From my mother, I learned 3 about four seasons. Each year has spring, summer, fall and winter. For the British, fall is uasally called autumn. In spring, days become long and nights get short. Flowers begin to blossom and birds start to sing. Life seems to bloom 4 everywhere. Some people enjoy the warm of spring. For the young at heart, spring is full of promise of love. After spring comes summer, which is the hottest of all. Some people like summer because they go swimming in lakes or rivers. Students love summer for their two or three months’ vacation. Some people hate summer because they can’t stand the heat. Some people even get heat…and …and get very sick. Summer super heat is best enjoyed if you turn on the air conditioner. After summer comes fall, which is the time for harvest. In the fall, fruit and grain become ripe. Farmers love the fall because they get the harvest in sell the results of their hard work. In the fall, leaves begin to turn glorious 5 colors. Fall is perhaps the beautiful season of all. Then winter comes. In winter, days are short and nights are long. Winter is the coldest season of the year. In the winter, snow can cover everything. Children love snow. With snow, they can make snowman. All people often don’t like winter because they can’t stand the cold. When the icy 6 cold comes, thousands of retired 7 people from the northern states migrate 8 to Floreda. They find warm weather there, even in the winter. That’s why Florida is called the Sunshine State. Believe it or not, there are flowers in winter too. Plum trees blossom in winter to welcome spring’s coming. They do not feel the cold for they’re well as strong as iron. So winter with its pure white snow has its own beauty. My mother likes all the seasons. She says they make the year go round and round. What she doesn’t like is rain. On the rainy day, she will gently pray, “rain, rain go away, my childrn need the sun today. Please, god, let them go outside to play.”
