China to brace for cold snap

BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- Most parts of China will over the weekend experience the lowest temperatures this winter, the National Meteorological Center (NMC) said on Friday.
Temperatures will drop 14 degrees Celsius 1 in some parts of northern and northeastern China.
People are advised to keep warm and fasten outdoor objects that might blow away and workers have been told to be careful when staying outdoors, according to the NMC.
The center maintained 2 its blue warning for the cold front, the lowest level in disaster alarm below yellow, orange and red, for the next two days.
