Good morning everyone. The Australian Chamber 1 of Commerce and Industry has welcome the proposal to reduce Sunday pay rates for workers in the retail 2 and hospitality industries. A draft report from the Productivity Commission calls penalty rates in those sectors 3 to be boating to line with Saterday pay rates. Sunday penalty rates are currently one hundred percent, known as double time, while Saterday rates are twenty-five percent, all time in the quarter. The Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry argues reducing Sunday penalty rates will lead to more jobs.
