3. A juvenile 5 judge in suburban 6 is ordering a confidence hearing for an 11-year-old girl. The girl was accused of beating to death a 2-month-old infant who was staying in her house.
4. And a 15-vehicle pileup on the New Jersey 7 turnpike left one person died and several injured. The incident happened during a mix of freezing weather, rains and snow flurry.
