A second woman is presumed dead from rising flood waters in Larimer County, Colorado, the widespread flooding has led to hundreds of missing person reports. But officials expect the numbers to drop.
Authroties have given the final go-ahead for a daring attempt Monday to pull upright the crippled Costa Concordia cruise ship. Never before have engineers tried to right such a big ship close to land. If it succeeds, the Concordia will be towed and broken up for scrap 1.
Thousands of bridges around the United States have a combination of red flags that raise safety concerns. An Associated Press analysis found nearly 8,000 labeled both "structurally 2 deficient 3" and "fracture critical."
And hundreds of people filled an Alabma church that was bombed by the Ku Klux Klan 50 years ago. The blast killed 4 little girls. The Reverend Arthur Price taught the same Sunday school lesson that students heard the morning of the bombing, "A Love That Forgives."
