3. A transformer fire forced emergency crews to shut off power to a large section of Boston's Back bay. About 2,000 homes and businesses were without electricity. Many have now had their power restored.
4. And Dallas Seavey has won Alaska's Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. At 25, he is the youngest musher ever to win the nearly 1000 mile race across the the state.
