3. Iran appears to have test-launched a rocket it plans to use to carry a research satellite into orbit. Iranian state TV says yesterday's launch was successful. Iran's fledgling space program is provoking unease abroad.
4. Pete's Grill 3 in Baltimore couldn't be prouder of hometown hero Michael Phelps. Photos of the 14-gold-medal Olympian are everywhere. There's even a high-calorie “Phelps Special” meant for sharing.
