1. Residents in South Florida are getting a taste of what Tropical Storm Fay has in store. Officials say about 25,000 tourists have evacuated 1 the Keys. Fay is responsible for at least eight deaths in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.


2. Russia says its military has begun to withdraw from the conflict zone in Georgia. But officials are keeping quiet about where troops and tanks will continue to operate. The recent peace plan calls for both sides to pull forces back to positions they held before fighting broke out on August 7th.


3. Police in the Bronx are looking for two men and two women in the killing 2 of an up-and-coming boxer 3. The entire incident was caught on surveillance tape. Twenty-year-old Ronney Vargas was shot dead while driving.


4. Authorities are evacuating 4 more tourists and residents from a remote offshoot of the Grand Canyon 5. The area has been hard hit by flooding from heavy weekend rains and a breached 6 earthen dam. Rescue crews plan to transport 120 tourists and residents out of Supai Canyon.
