专辑介绍：
经过了四年的漫长等待之后，电子流行乐歌星Dido终于推出了第二张个人专辑，自从受到Eminem的单曲《Stan》的推动作用以后，Dido专辑的销量飞速增长，人气也呈几何倍数的提升，这张倍受期待的专辑推出以后，已经在英国专辑榜上轻松的成为了冠军，随后又以接近19万2千张的单周销量在美国Billboard排行榜上位居第四名，这也追平了她第一张专辑《No Angel》的记录。
在这张专辑中，Dido主要表现了她的音乐工作的艰辛，以及感情上的挫折等许多令她伤心的记忆，特别是在最近和多年的男友分手的情形，颇有些“功名利禄虽苦取，红颜知己更难求”的感觉。在上一张大获成功的专辑《No Angel》之后，Dido长时间的投入到制作这张新专辑的工作中，为了保证专辑在音乐和商业上不会出现大滑坡，Dido也采用了通常的做法，那就是尽量保持上张专辑的原班人马操刀，所以这张专辑还是主要由她的哥哥Rollo担任制作人，但是这也在一定程度上影响了音乐在创新方面的工作。事实上也是如此，在音乐风格上基本和上一张没有太多的区别，不过一些旋律的处理上比前一张专辑显得更为自然了。此外专辑里也有一些令人回味的单曲，诸如《White Flag》《Stoned》《See You When You're 40》《Do You Have a Little Time》以及同名主打《Life for Rent》等。
