[00:20.48]when I met this very interesting man.
[00:22.62]He had travelled for years
[00:24.25]and he had lots of strange adventures.
[00:26.73]Amongst them he had spent five years
[00:28.89]on the island of Utopia.
[00:31.07]I invited him to dinner and asked him
[00:32.67]to tell me all about it.
[00:39.06]Well, to start with,
[00:40.23]it is the most civilised country in the world.
[00:42.90]All the towns are identical 1 you know
[00:44.58]and all the buildings are laid out
[00:45.52]in an ordered way.
[00:47.28]Every building has piped water
[00:49.49]and the houses are large with glass windows-
[00:51.82]just think of that!
[00:53.83]Well...there is no private property 2 in Utopia
[00:56.62]and various families live together
[00:58.41]in each of the large houses.
[01:00.50]Everybody wears the same kind of clothes
[01:02.78]and so there is no fashion.
[01:04.75]Nobody has any desire to show off
[01:06.78]and gold and silver have no value-
[01:08.76]unlike in our society.
