英语课

考生在做CET阅读理解题时常常碰上一些特殊词汇,虽然似曾相识,但却不清楚其在特定语境中的确切含义,这样往往会影响到发挥。这些熟悉的词汇在特定文字中的取义,往往成为语句结构的枢纽,意义重大,可以帮助考生把握作者的思想意图,是解题的关键所在。


任何应试技巧都是基于多年标准化考试的理性分析和科学总结,所得到的经验和解题规则。因此笔者分析了最近几年CET4阅读试题中出现过的熟词僻义现象,以期考生能有所借鉴。

【常见词义】锚;抛锚,泊船


【典型释义】固定,系牢


【真题举例】To further protect the house from hurricane damage, Huff raised it 2.7 meters off the ground on timber pilings —— long, slender columns of wood anchored deep in the sand. (2003.12  Passage Four) 为了更好地防御飓风的袭击,赫夫用木桩——长而细的木柱子深深地扎入沙土中,使房子离地2.7米。
