Mexican Food 享用墨西哥菜
Do you like to eat different kinds of food? 你喜欢吃不同种类的菜肴吗？
If you do, you should try Mexican food. 如果喜欢的话，那你应该尝尝墨西哥菜。
Let's visit a Mexican restaurant and learn about some different dishes. 让我们来造访一家墨西哥餐厅，了解一些不同的菜肴吧。
One of the most famous Mexican foods is tacos. 墨西哥菜最著名的其中一道菜是墨西哥卷饼，
Tacos are meat, vegetables and cheese in a soft or crisp 1 tortilla. 就是把肉类、蔬菜和奶酪包在软皮或酥脆的墨西哥薄饼内，
A tortilla is a thin, round piece of bread. 墨西哥薄饼是一种圆形的薄面皮。
Another popular dish is a quesadilla. 另一道热门的菜肴是墨西哥烤饼，
It is cheese cooked in a tortilla. 是把奶酪夹在墨西哥薄饼内烹调。
You can have vegetables and meat in a quesadilla, too. 墨西哥烤饼里也可以加入蔬菜和肉类。
Many Mexican dishes use tortillas. 许多墨西哥菜都会用上墨西哥薄饼。
Fresh tortillas aren't hard to make. 新鲜的墨西哥薄饼并不难做，
You need flour, baking powder, butter, salt and warm water. 需要的材料包括面粉、发粉、奶油、盐和温水。
First, you mix the flour and baking powder in a bowl. 首先，把面粉和发粉在碗里混合，
Next, add the butter to the flour and mix it with your hands. 然后添加奶油，用手混匀。
Now put some salt in the warm water. 接着，在温水里加一点盐，
Then you add the water into the flour a little at a time until you have soft dough 2. 再把盐水一点一点地倒入面粉里，直到做成软面团为止。
Make it into a ball. 接下来，把面团揉成球，
Put it in a bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel for 20 minutes. 放进碗里，盖上干净的厨房手巾，静置二十分钟。
After the dough has rested for 20 minutes, make the dough into smaller balls. 面团静置二十分钟后，再把面团揉成一个个小球。
Put some flour on a board, and roll out the dough ball to make a thin, round circle. 把一些面粉撒在一块木板上，然后把面团小球捍成一张圆形薄片。
Then heat a pan 3 over a fire. 接着，开火加热平底锅，
When the pan is hot put the tortilla into the pan. 等锅热之后，再把墨西哥薄饼放进锅里，
Cook the tortilla about one minute. 煎一分钟左右，
When it starts to bubble 4, turn the tortilla over and cook the other side for a few seconds. 等到薄饼开始冒泡，就翻面再煎个几秒钟，
Now the tortilla is ready to be eaten. 这样墨西哥薄饼就可以吃了。
