According to neuro scientist from Briton's Kill? The researchers have groups of undergraduate students submerge their hands in a tub of ?? cold water and repeat the swear ?? they've chioced. And students can tolerate the icy ? much longer than when they were only allow to say more socially acceptable words. The researchers say ? students also have increasd heart rates, which indicates that swearing activates a classic fight or flight response. You know, when you act all bad and downplay the fact that you scare ?. The studies suggest that the swearing is an ancient social phenomenon, with all the emotional and physical effects and also that socially acceptable words don't mean (shit?)when your pain really hurts like a sun of a bitch.
