 The World Health Organisation 1 has suggested that millions of doses of two experimental Ebola vaccines 2 could be ready for use in 2015 and five more experimental vaccines would start being tested in March.


Trials of those two most advanced vaccines have already begun in the US, UK and Mali.
If the early vaccine 3 trials hint at success, larger trials testing the vaccines in West Africa could begin as soon as December.
Dr. Marie-Paule Kieny is the World Health Organisation Assistant Director-General.
