China Film Group Corp. announced last Saturday that "Xuan Zang" has been entered for Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards.
中国电影集团公司于上周六宣布，《大唐玄奘》已经入围第89届学院奖最佳外语影片候选名单。
The film, directed by Huo Jianqi, tells the historical adventure of Chinese Buddhist 1 monk 2 Xuan Zang and his 17-year overland journey to India during the 7th century.
这部影片是由霍建起导演，讲述了中国佛教僧侣玄奘的历史奇遇，以及在7世纪历时17年来到印度的陆路旅程。
The Sino-Indian co-production was released in both countries in April and won best visual effects at the 2016 China Britain Film Festival.
这部中印合作的影片于四月份在两国放映，并在2016年中英电影节上摘得最佳视觉效果奖。
